In Gartner’s new paper titled, “Augmented Analytics: Teaching Machines to Tell Data Stories to Humans”, James Richardson outlines recommendations for today’s data & analytics leaders amidst a new wave of BI & analytics platforms.
“If we extrapolate this trend, we see the potential for Wave 4 analytics systems that don’t just make it easier to manipulate, search and visualize data, but that automatically create data-driven stories about underlying issues in the widest possible dataset,” per Gartner.
