We’re excited to announce the latest version of Quill to help you tell even better stories with your data. With this release, we’re empowering users to further customize the language in their narratives and embed their data stories within public-facing dashboards. Here are a few highlights:
Custom headers and footers
This feature allows users to insert their own free text at the top and bottom of the narrative node. With custom headers and footers, builders are empowered to add their own qualitative analysis to their stories, include additional explanations of data trends, or append legal and privacy disclaimers. This feature is available in Tableau, Qlik, and will be available in PowerBI in November.
Many of our Qlik users embed their dashboards in public-facing websites and portals. With this latest feature, those mashups can now support narratives. This allows our customers to extend the value of Quill to readers and viewers outside of their own internal organizations.
