Lexio is designed to help business users understand the ongoing performance of any metric, so they can make data-driven decisions in real-time. For example: How is our progress on x metric? How did we do last month/quarter/year? How did that compare to historical trends?
Lexio knows a lot about BI and how to tell a data story. But it needs your data in a particular way to write a good story for you.
To write a good Lexio story, here’s what you need:
- A metric/s you want to track (e.g. sales, campaign spend), over time (e.g. this week, this month) with relevant/helpful dimensional breakdowns (e.g. by region, by demographic, by product type, etc). If possible, try to include a couple of years of data!
- Desired analysis that is ongoing. A one-time analysis, such as a campaign analysis that is time-boxed, or survey data that is complete after a certain period of time isn’t a great use case for Lexio.
- Tabular format
- Date/Time Dimension
- Measures (KPIs that drive the most impact for your business)
- Dimensions (Relevant dimensions that impact these KPIs)
How we turn data into stories in Lexio:
We can turn your data into a story in just a few steps. Watch this short video to see how we can take a simple csv file and transform it into an interactive data story in Lexio.
Stop creating dashboards that no one uses. It’s time to move towards a better way. We hope you’ll take this first step with Lexio.
