Our People

Our core philosophy is letting people be people. By letting our people be themselves, we are a more driven, innovative, collaborative, and passionate organization. We are a company that is changing how the world interacts with data and building products that empower other companies to let their people be people, too.

Let your people be people
through the power of storytelling.

Our goal is to bring storytelling back into business

We build software to help computers tell us the story from data, and we give those stories to every single employee in our company.

At the same time, we continually build programs and opportunities to help our people realize their full potential through the power of human storytelling.

Spend time doing what you do best

We believe in letting your people be people. Getting back to what makes you, you. This is different for everyone. Are you creative? A people person? A problem-solver?

The reality is that each of us has unique talents, and that’s what makes up a great company.

Stop spending time analyzing data

During the past few years, we’ve been pushing everyone, no matter who they are, to be more data-driven. To spend more time looking at the numbers and trying to get value from them.

And you know what? We think that is absolutely ridiculous. There is no comparable skill that we are insisting everyone learn. Are we teaching our entire company to pitch products? To balance financial statements? No. Because that would be taking our people away from what they do best.

Not an analyst? No problem

We know that people should understand data to be better at their jobs, but you don’t have to strip away their humanity while doing it. If we can provide everyone—any industry, any level, any skill set—the ability to understand data without actually having to analyze it, we can get back to what really matters. To what makes us human.

Do more of what makes you, you

Spend more time perfecting your pitch. Spend more time thinking about the next creative marketing campaign. Spend more time solving the next big engineering problem. The list goes on and on.

Whatever makes you, you—use data storytelling technology to spend more time doing that.

Our stories

We believe in this so much that we literally wrote a book on it, and are bringing it to life on this very page. Below, you can hear our people’s stories. They are smart, they are innovative, and they want to share their experiences with you.
